GoLive Probiotic Full Review & Opinion

After using the GoLive probiotic in Berry Pomegranate flavour for about a month, this is my full and detailed review.

Go Live Probiotic Ingredients

The GoLive probiotic has 15 billion CFUs (healthy bacteria) coming from 15 different probiotic strains and the mix of probiotic strains they used here is really really good.

Out of the numerous probiotic strains, there are 3 that I love most.

First, the most popular probiotic strain of all time, Lactobacillus acidophilus, this is a well known and researched strain proven to dramatically improve your digestion, reduce gas and bloating and also reverse IBS, it’s a great overall strain.

My second favorite is Lactobacillus bulgaricus, it’s a great strain for anyone suffering from Crohn’s Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and IBS, a few additional benefits include strong detoxification of bad bacteria from the gut and also providing relief from gum disease.

Last, but not least we have Bifidobacterium bifidum, which is used to help restore and balance your healthy gut bacteria, it’s also used to reverse IBS and Ulcerative Colitis.

Recommended dosage for GoLive Probiotic

There are 2 types of directions on the packaging.

The first one is for those who only want to maintain their current gut health, for those it’s recommended to take 1 packet every 2-3 days.

But for those who have acute health concerns (of all ages) it’s recommended to take one packet daily.

Go Live Probiotic Benefits

As with any probiotic supplement, there are numerous benefits that you can expect and that are advertised, these benefits range from improved mind clarity, better digestion, reduction in gas, more energy, etc.

I took the recommended daily dose (coming from a much more potent and recommended probiotic) I only noticed that I wasn’t as hungry as before, which I’m guessing makes this a great weight loss probiotic.

With everything else like IBS, bloating or gas I didn’t really see much improvement, but for losing weight I’m guessing this is an excellent choice, although I personally prefer to take care of my health first, instead of focusing on dropping weight.

As we know, excess weight drops naturally, as our body gets healthier and the gut gets repaired.

GoLive Probiotic Side Effects and Allergies

As with most probiotic powders I also experienced some side effects – my stomach is very resistant to these powdery type of drinks, they always make me gag – I often compare it to drinking a cheap sugary drink. 🙁

For the first 4 days or so my stomach felt quite bad and I didn’t have any appetite after drinking these, but it got better on day 5.

In terms of allergies, I’m quite happy that Go Live is very transparent, as they did say that the product does contain dairy, but in such tiny amounts that it doesn’t really cause any problems even for those who are allergic.

The Go Live probiotic is free for gluten, yeast and soy – it’s also NON GMO and vegetarian.

My overall thoughts on the Go Live probiotic are kind of mixed, even though I loved the taste of the probiotic, I knew that I was going to have problems as most of us simply don’t do well when consuming probiotic powders.

In addition I experienced pretty bad stomach aches for the first few days after starting with the probiotic protocol and I also experienced a loss of appetite.

Other than the loss of appetite and thus weight loss, I didn’t experience any benefits.

And I’m a bit sad that I can’t recommend this product since it tastes so delicious, but honestly, there are NUMEROUS better choices out there that will not only be more affordable but will actually let you EXPERIENCE health benefits and not just a loss of appetite.
